Nomads & Co.

The other day I went and checked out a new communal work space in Parktown North called Nomads & Co. Owned and run by Lizette Watts & Donna Peter this absolutely beautifully designed space makes the perfect office away from home. And when I say it’s beautifully designed, I mean it. They hired Mia Wildlake from Studio 19 to deck it out and all the furniture and finishings are so nice, I would of taken half the stuff home with me if I was a kleptomaniac slash had a furniture removals truck double parked outside.

Lizette and Donna’s idea for this space is simple, you can come in and work on a day to day basis or you can buy little packages that allow you to use Nomads & Co. and it’s amenities for certain periods of time, kind of like a membership. They have fast wi-fi, printers, scanning, meeting rooms, reading nooks and a pour-over coffee station which allows you to have as much coffee as your little caffeine addicted heart desires.

Here’s another cool thing about this space. It has a kitchen so you can bring and prepare your own lunch or, now this made me very happy, you can pre-order lunch from The Bowery Food Club who prepare and deliver fresh gourmet meals everyday. I think if they had beds in this joint I’d move in tomorrow.
