This is Tori from Fret, which is a band that you must definitely make a plan to see if you have 2 ears. Fullstop. She has the most amazing voice and now the most amazing tattoos. I can honestly say that I’m not a big fan of tattoos in general, I think it’s because i’m a big scardy cat, but sometimes you see someone with one that suits them so much you wish you could wear their skin to your birthday party – ok a little uncalled for…sorry. Anyway these are Tori’s new tattoos, 2 little magpies and I think they are just beautiful.
*What tattoo would you get? I always thought a life size Casio watch tattoo on the wrist would be so cool, but I will never get one. Never ever. Oh well…
A swallow., I really want one too. There is even a tattoo parlor super close to my house. But I am also afraid of pain and the tattoo looking stuffed up. There are a few older people at my workplace, who have tattoos which has started to look quite gunky!
Which is a concern…

I’ve always wanted a treble clef on my wrist or my ankle. SO scared of the pain that comes with it though….
Too scared of tattoo’s! Would love a small Chinese “H” on my wrist though…
i think those are crows actually. I’m a big fan of bird tattoos, would love to get one of those vintage bird book illustrations tattooed on my back, a whole page of doves or something, with all the little notes and names for bits of the birds included. but i think im a scaredy cat too hahah

I want a few things but doubt I will EVER get ANY of them.
1. A baby buddha on my back (saw the pic at a Kung Fu Kitchen of all places)
2. Cherry blossom stalks around my wrist or up my ankle
3. This gorgeous picture I saw of one of the female gods at the Bhuddist temple, it was done in true Asian style with gorgeous wispy strokes
4. A nordic viking symbol on my neck
5. The JHB skyline across the bottom of my back (tramp stamp stylees, no offence to anyone)
Funny what you say about a full size casio watch tattoo as i have got one. its awesome but you get alot of people ask what the time is which gets annoying.
I thought they were tits. You know, the birds.
