Back in the day my gran, the lovely lady above, was and still is now a beautiful woman, who always takes so much pride in her appearance. When I was younger I always remember her being so well put together, her hair was always made up and she always had the prettiest jewellery on.
She has such lovely vintage pieces that I love going through when I visit her, she has showed me which ones will be mine one day and some of them are so fancy that they look like they belong in an old school Audrey Hepburn movie, but she also has less flashy stuff, which is just as special, some of which I already have. I wanted to show you guys the latest ring that I got from her the other day when she came to visit.
I love it, just like I love the other ones that she has given me. I wear her wedding band all the time with my engagement ring and the ruby and amethyst one is also one of my favourite pieces to wear. My gran’s engagement ring (the high diamond setting at the bottom) is one that she still wears, so she hasn’t handed it over yet hee.
Anyway, I thought I would do a post on all of them, because I love seeing all the different styles from all the different eras.
