These paintings are by Megan Howland, she was born in 1985 in Massachusetts, and grew up in New Hampshire. She currently lives and works in Portland, ME.
Her portraits are great and I would hang any one of them up in my house, but the first one below is my favourite. It makes me think about how life can be so beautiful sometimes, but so overwhelming too.
