Everyone say hello to Tristan, he’s a super talented director and an all-round nice guy and he’s the next Levis and Me participant.

Andrew has a new person up on his blog too, check them out here.
Questions:
1. What city do you live in, and how long have you called it home? Johannesburg. I have lived in several cities around the world but have to say Joburg has always been home. Whether i like it or not, we seem to be forever bound, sometimes I think like star-crossed lovers, other times more like an old cantankerous couple bitter and twisted from decades of misunderstanding.
2.What do you do? I am a filmmaker by training. A commercial director by trade. A frustrated polemic by night. A golfing bedroom dj on weekends.
3. What is one of the raddest things you have done wearing a pair of jeans? Fallen in love.
4. If you could live in someone else’s ‘jeans’ for a day who would that person be? I am not sure how often he wears them but Paul Thomas Anderson’s jeans have a certain allure. I imagine there is a pair that have been torn and patched over and over again, with lingering evidences of There Will Be Blood, Magnolia and Boogie Nights caught in the seams. Maybe not Boogie Nights so much.
5. What is the one thing/person that influences your style the most? I love mixing super fitted elegant stuff with street wear. It is like a mixture of old and young. Considering I am getting on now, somewhat reluctantly, this contrast is fitting.
6. Would you rather have an extra mouth on your forehead that sings Michael Bolton covers all day long or a chin that looks like Mr.Bean and thinks that it’s married to you, so it serenades you all day long? Thats easy. Michael Bolton. I feel that lending some unnecessary melodrama, and overzealous alto toned sincerity to my presence would be a great thing for those moments where the conversation dries up.
