Name: Ivana Raguž

Questions:

1. What city do you live in, and how long have you called it home? I live in Johannesburg and have lived here for 3 years now.

2.What do you do? I am a graphic designer for an amazing little studio called The New Black.

3. What is one of the raddest things you have done wearing a pair of jeans? One of the raddest things I’ve done in a pair of jeans has got to be climbing up to a breathtaking tree-house in an insanely tall Blue Gum Tree (or a Eucalyptus Globulus tree as my boss would correctly call it) which was built in Water Kloof in 1 year by one man in order to win his wife’s love back. The view from the top, being with my Matty and friends coupled with the beautiful love story definitely makes this one of the greatest experiences I’ve had.

4. If you could live in someone else’s ‘jeans’ for a day who would that person be? I might break a few rules here. 1) He’s a ‘he’. and 2) I’d be going back in time. John Lennon is my favourite celebrity human being that has lived on this earth. I would like to be in his jeans for a day (ooh). No, not like that. maybe like that. No, focus. Id want to be in his jeans the day he played his first gig on the Ed Sullivan Show (lets just say he was wearing jeans).

5. What is the one thing/person that influences your style the most? I like to be comfortable in what I wear. Not tracksuit pants comfortable, but rather happy with myself in well fitted pretty rad clothes comfortable. I have this crazy idea of one day making my own clothes according to what I pin on Pinterest. My moms a fantastic seamstress, but I have a lot to learn.

6. Would you rather have skin like a brown leather handbag that has been left out in the rain or eyes so big and so far a part you’d make Steve Buscemi look normal? Being someone who applies 50 spf sunscreen on my face daily, I wouldn’t really go for the leathery look. There could be a big advantage to having eyes wide apart! Panoramic view! Yes!!
