I have a lot of love for the jumpsuit, I think it’s because they are so damn comfortable and they often have pockets for things like snacks and cellphones, perhaps a mini hamburger for later in the day.
I recently partnered up with YDE to create a style post. YDE has been around for ages and they have a lot of cool local designers that make really pretty stuff. Admittingly so some of it is not my style, but there are definitely some pieces that I really like, like this green drop crotch jumpsuit, which is made out of the most comfortable tracksuit like material. In fact, I think it may be one of the comfiest onesies I own.
Shane and I headed up to our roof for an impromptu shoot, which is my favourite way to shoot because I’m not exactly the best in front of a camera. The number of funny face photos that come out of these things is honestly ridiculous! Thank goodness cameras are now digital because I think if we were still working on film, I’d be the most disappointed blogger on the block. I’d probably have to comp various photos together to make one good one! A hand from here, a face from there, an eye and half from this one.
I’ll stop my ramblings now and show you some pics, this jumpsuit is from Koukla and the beautiful gold Bokkie necklace is from Ruby. I decided to pair this look up with my not-s0-white Converse for a more casual look, although with the right shoes and accessories this jumpsuit could be pretty fancy.
This post has two purposes and the second one is to tell you that Truworths has recently announced that they’ve collaborated with M-Net’s The Voice SA as the fashion sponsor to style the talent and coaches, which is pretty cool. I love Karen Zoid on that show, she is my favourite!

Are those Nina’s arms in the second last photo flipping mama’s hair? I love these photos!
