these lovely ladies are shane’s gran (above left) and aunt lil (top photo). i took a lot of photos of them when we all went on holiday together to shane’s family cottage in riet river two decembers ago. this place is so awesome – it’s old and full of character, it has pictures all over the walls and pieces of antique furniture scattered all around – super awesome.
i really really love the top photo. i love how aunty lil is like an older version of the little girl in the painting on the left. look, even their poses are similar. i love it when a moment like that happens and my camera is there to see it. aaa camera i love you.
