A while back I bought these vintage glass buttons from Russia. they came from an old abandoned factory. Some guy found a box of them and then rescued them before they got destroyed. Why oh why can’t I come across an abandoned factory with vintage buttons crying out to be saved from the dark dark darkness? Why?!
Anyway, I said that I had a plan for them – my plan is to turn them into one of kind necklaces for one to wear around their pretty little necks. The one up top I made for jo, to wish her luck on her wedding day. Do you guys like it? I’m going to attempt to make more. Let me know what you think….. x x

I loves it. It too is my dream to one day find a box of old beautiful FREE buttons and rescue them back to my house. Maybe our dream will come true?

I’d never heard of glass buttons til I saw some at a bead show I went to recently and have been meaning to make some pendants with the ones I procured. I love these blue ones, especially the baby blue. so lovely.
