Grey can really brighten up a room.

January 21, 2011

The other day Shanus and I decided that we needed a bit of a change. So we took down all our pictures, stuck on some old baggy jeans that would of been major hits in 1998, bought a tin of dark grey paint and got stuck into the wall behind the television. Two days and 3 coats later we ended up with this. We were super happy, except for when we gently peeled the carefully placed tape away and discovered some nice jagged edges that are driving me bonkers! The plan is to hang 1 or 2 pieces of big art that we have worked on ourselves.

What do you think? You likie?

We have those crappy tape-jagged edges in our bathrooms too, which are painted bright purple and bright blue, respectively, so it’s really obvious. It drives me crazy too, it’s like the only thing I can see in the entire place.
