Swatch got hold of me the other day and wanted to know if I would be keen to giveaway one of their new Kidrobot watches, and I said “sure why not”, they are super fun looking and I have no doubt that one of you would dig one of these fancy guys. Yes?
The whole project is pretty cool actually, what they have done is commisioned 8 artisit from widely varying backgrounds around the world – Frank Kozik, Jeremyville, (love this guys stuff) MAD, Tilt, Tara McPherson, SSUR (Ruslan Karablin), Gary Baseman and Joe Ledbetter – to each contribute to the new collection, each with a characteristic design for a watch and its accompanying 3–inch Dunny (vinyl toy).
You are able to buy them from selected Swatch retailers, but why not get one for free and save your moola to buy a giant blow-up pool full of pork rinds – yes that is seriously what I would do if I had some spare cash lying around. Don’t judge me.

I’ve been a fan of KidRobot and Swatch since an age that I don’t even remember anymore. All I know if every little spot in my room is filled with KidRobot Dunnys and my collection of Swatch watches started way back when they weren’t even in South Africa yet. To be perfectly honest these two brands are two of my alltime favourite brands and the fact that they’ve launched a range together make me all giddy inside. Winning any one of these set would just absolutely make my year and put the widest smile on my face (not to mention that I’m already smiling just thinking about it). I can’t even count how much cashmoney I’ve spent on Swatch and KidRobot combined but I know I’d definitely be able to buy a few hundred of these sets with all the money I’ve spent on my collections. Please grant me the pleasure of being one of your winners. I’ve already made a little space for it in my display case Just in case.
