Fudge cupcakes

fudge-cupcakes

Hello guys, the other day I baked some fudge cupcakes that I saw on Diné’s sweet sweet little blog. I needed to take some cake to my friend Leigh’s surprise ‘welcome home and we’re happy you’re engaged’ party. I didn’t have much time, but I whipped these up quick sticks and they were delicious, the icing seriously tasted just like fudge. I actually felt a little sick after I iced them because I obviously dipped my fists into the icing bowl.

So click on the link above for Diné’s post and the recipe for the actual cupcakes. She has a few more on there that you must like to pinch too. Nice.

-Leave it to cool for a few minute and add the remaining icing sugar.

-Mix well with an electric beater.

-You can add some more milk if it is too thick to ice with.

Ammmmazing! Thanks for posting about this recipe… Those cupcakes looked so good that I had to try it out too. I had to add quite a lot of milk to get the icing to stay icing and not become real fudge, but they still looked ok in the end. I posted some pics of my attempt (http://likeslashlove.blogspot.com/2011/07/fudge-cupcakes-fudge-cupcakes-who-knew.html)… will definitely try again soon though.
