This beautiful compact was given to my granny by a suitor when she was 19. He had her initial engraved on the front (in greek). my gran didn’t land up with this guy, but I will say one thing, he sure has damn good taste in compacts. She gave it to me just the other day, I worked it out, it’s 62 years old. Wow. Below is a picture of my granny and grandad. He passed away quite a few years ago. He was the best, she is the best. I love you yiayia xx
