The other day I got introduced to a lovely online kid’s store called Collerette, which is run and curated by a charming lady named Katia who has moved here from Paris. She thought it would be awesome to create a online space that she could stock with unique items from foreign places that she travels to and make them easily available to us here in South Africa.
Collerette, meaning little collar in French, stocks some of the cutest clothing, toys and furnishings for kids and babies. I checked it out and it really does have some amazing pieces. Most of her goods are sourced mainly from France, Sweden and Denmark, which means you getting to shop brands such as Aden + Anais, Egmont, Lu & Barnabe, Brio, Sophie le Girafe, Jellycat, Mini Rodini, Trousselier, Vilac, Djeco, Little Golden Book, Edition Paume and Flenstend as well as local favourites, Myang and Natural Beauty (Keep an eye out for Beaba and Bobochose, which will be coming soon).
Collerette sent Nina James an early Christmas present in the post last week and needless to say when I opened it, I was super excited that it was a Mini Rodini onsie, which I love. Mini Rodini, which is one of my all time favourite international kid’s labels is pretty hard to find in SA, so I’m quite excited that I can now order it off a local site and not worry about the good old post office. Im actually a little scared too that I might go overboard. Oh well.
So if you guys are looking for more out of the ordinary kids stuff, that you definitely won’t find in your local mall, then check out Collerette.
How amazing is the Vilac car below? Shoo.
