How much fun is this project? – Geffen Refaeli, who is a freelance illustrator based in Tel aviv, draws a doodle a day based on other people’s Instagram feeds as inspiration. Some of them are damn cool and strange as all hell, I would love to see what the original base photo was for some of her drawings.
Jane Sews Spring Capsule is now available to buy online, all you have to do is click here, choose, then enter your credit card details and you’re a-for-away. There are such soft, pretty pieces to choose from, when I was going through them now I felt like I should be on holiday somewhere warm and flipping amazing. Holiday soon. Yes please.
Their new line of leather shoes and accessories are also listed online, there are some really beautiful designs, so good luck choosing just one pair/thing.
Here are some of the flipping delicious looking things that I have pinned lately and drooled over. I’m so happy to have my sweet teeth back, whilst I was pregnant I craved salty things more that sweet, which is really not like me, but I’m happy to say that that has all changed. I could take any of these cakes out right now with my bare hands and face, no fork needed.
All the recipes are below each photo.
These very peculiar and intricate drawings of by an artist called Laurie Lipton. I find them so bizarre, but just as intriguing. They’re like you’re taking a glimpse back into the past, but after you’ve eaten way too much Sunday lunch and sat out in the sun for too long, if you know what I mean.
I absolutely love this big open Northcote warehouse, which has been converted into a home. It’s filled with wonderful art, colour and amazingness.

Today I thought I would share some of Nina Torr’s work with you. She is a local South African artist that is one of my most favourite illustrators around. She has exhibited at Wolves a couple of times, as well as at a quite a number of other gallaries. She has a solo show coming up really soon and I’m going to make sure I’m first in line for it! I’ll let you know when it comes around, but for now enjoy some Nina magic.
