Ok so I got super spoilt by the team over at Dear Rae. WOW. I received a beautifully packaged ring yesterday with loads of photos of their new Let’s Go Tropsi Collection, which is really pretty and delicate and made up of glints of gold, native shapes and lavish colours that come through in the use of precious stones. I’m a huge fan of Dear Rae’s creations, in fact every time I wear any Dear Rae piece that I own, someone asks me where it comes from. I find everything that they make so simple and unfussy, but really eye catching and beautiful at the same time and I’m super happy with my awesome ‘delicious monster’ ring that they sent me, which I definitely think needs some friends, because they look so good stacked.
My friend Kristin is opening up her very own Black Betty jewellery store in the Bryanston Shopping Centre, Cnr William Nicol/ Ballyclaire Drive. Her stuff is so so pretty and delicate and pretty and I just want everything. I’m not sure it’s a good thing that she now has a shop I can visit anytime. I have blogged about her stuff before, just click here to have a bit of a online drool.
A local lass by the name of Anna who is behind the label SMITH, emailed me a couple of days ago about her new Bone Couture jewellery collection. The collection was inspired by a little Bokmakierie carcass that she found on the side of the road in Namaqualand last year. She then incorporated an albino Gopher snake to round out the collection.
I think these pieces are pretty cool and I really, really like the long necklace with the gold Bokmakierie dangling off of it.
This simple, but oh so beautiful jewellery is made by sisters Noriko and Akiko Sugawara under their label n+a new york. They’re so delicate but imperfect at the same time, I really like them.
Got a very nice and surprise delivery in the mail the other day from local jewellery designer Famke. She sent me these sweet silver earrings and a note to check out her new online store, which has just launched. I did go check it out and there are some very very cool pieces on there and all very well priced. Thought I would show you guys some of them, maybe you can take yourselves on a bit of a online shop this fine Wednesday morning.
I think the sharp rings below are my favourite, I also like all the bracelets worn together. Nice nice nice.
Depeapa has new collection out and I love everything about it. Each bag is like a piece of candyflossed material. Depeapa always has the nicest and cutest stuff on her online store, it’s so worth a visit if you want to treat yourself with some prettiness.
The tote bags are great!
