GIVEAWAY: Sodastream Source

Good morning friends, isn’t it a beautiful day? A beautiful day to perhaps enter a cool competition to with a cool prize? Yes.

The guys at Sodastream not only gave me an awesome machine to make my kitchen happy, but they have also given me one to give away – I have a brand new jet black Sodastream Source designed by Yves Béhar, one of the world’s top style and design visionaries.

Now I don’t know about you guys, but this is definitely something I wouldn’t mind propped up in my kitchen glistening in the sun and because I know that there are a few of you out there that probably feel the same way, I’m going to  make it easy for you to enter and hopefully walk away with this black beauty.

It comes complete with a gas bottle and even a few sample flavour packs. In fact it’s pretty cool how many flavours you can get these days, they have orange, cola, strawberry, summer lemon, orange & mango, cream soda, raspberry, grape, lemonade, cranberry & raspberry, blue berry, naartjie and mandarin, peach, energy, kiwi and pear, tonic and the list goes on.

GIVEAWAY: Ghd time! Oh yes hair do some somersaults for us.

Morning guys, it’s Monday and it’s a bit miserabel outside (well it is in JHB) so lets see if I can make your day a little brighter. The lovely people from ghd have kept aside one of their brand new limited edition stylers from their Candy Collection for me to give to one of you (it is worth R1820). And I’m going to make it super easy for you guys to get your paws on it.

All you have to do is:

APPLE VS BLACKBERRY: MAY THE BEST FRUIT WIN

I don’t know about you guys but I love my Apple iPhone. It’s one of my most favourite things in the world and not only because it tells me what time it is, but because it’s like having your whole life with you wrapped up in the nicest brushed aluminium case ever. I take it everywhere and so when Ceres Fruit Juice asked me to tell you guys about a cool competition that they are running whereby you can win one of seven Apple iPhone 5’s, I decided to share it with you guys.

This competition promotes their new Ceres Limited Edition Apple flavour which they have bought out as a cheeky response to Liqui-Fruit’s recent release of the Liqui-Fruit BlackBerry Flavour. And as part of the launch, Ceres has released an exciting interactive online game which can be found on the Ceres Facebook Page. The game encourages users to ‘root out the cheeky blackberry’s that have snuck into the Ceres Valley’ to stand a chance in winning one of seven Apple iPhone 5’s.

I have just played it, it’s like angry birds except in the end you may actually get something for the time you spend hurling things across a screen. It’s a fun and easy game, so if you’re wanting to win a cool prize, then I suggest you enter. Good luck xx

So one of my most favourite bands are coming to South Africa and sooooOOOOoon. I’m so excited for this concert because I know it’s going to be beyond amazing and definitely one worth going to.

GIVEAWAY: Room Online

My friend  Natasha Stone together with Anne Bouwer run and own Room Online, which is a great local online store that stocks the sweetest things from wooden cake stands, to Honest chocolate to rabbit adorned pillow cases to ceramics to tea towels etc. Their little store has all sorts of things that will make perfect gifts for your friends/family or yourself and the best part is that they are all for speedy delivery. So you see something, you order it and Bob’s your Uncle, it’s at your front door. Nice hey?

– when it comes to craft and design, too often the fruits of the independent designer’s creativity remain hidden away in tiny studios and backrooms, where few can appreciate or acquire these precious gems. this is especially true in south africa, where independent designers typically don’t have the budget or resources to market their goods on a large scale. Room Online hopes to change all that.
