i found this photograph of my granny and grandfather’s wedding the other day when i was helping my mom clear some stuff out. it was taken in 1949 in Bulawayo and now sits on my TV cabinet. everyone looks so handsomeautiful and antiquey in the picture. i love it. and yes i just made up 2 words. i’m an art director, i’m allowed to.
So special. Always treasure it. I watched a friend’s gran’s wedding video from the 50’s the other day. So amazing…I loved the outfits. It had no sound which only made you focus more on the visual side. I wish I could time travel and imagine going shopping in an era of your choice. Mmmm…must make time machine!
