Blast from the past

I was going through my “my thing” cupboard the other day. I’m hoping you all know what I’m talking about when I say this. You know that cupboard that has the most random, but awesome stuff in it that you have been collecting or keeping your whole life? Well some people have a box or a draw like this, I have a whole cupboard and every now and then I rummage through it so I can take myself on a little trip down Angie Memory Lane.

I thought I would pick out a few choice items and share them with you, see if any of you have some of these items floating around your house somewhere.

 I think one of the things that I still have that makes me laugh quite hard is my B.A. Baracus feather earring. Yes I used to wear one feather earring when I was a youngin and with pride I might add, it was one of prized possessions. Man I loved the A-Team so much.

Another thing that I still have that I’m so happy I kept because you never know when they may come in handy is my Garbage Pail Kids. I have my whole collection in a cigar box. I can still remember how excited I used to get when my mom bought me a new pack and how they used to smell like the gum that came wrapped up with them, aaaaaaa they were so awesome.

I also, believe it or not still have my BOB-T card, which probably never had more than R60 on it at any given time! I should try use this thing now. Sixty bucks could get totally me a frozen yoghurt and maybe a half eaten a Bar-One.

I have also included my iPod from like 1987 in this post because damn this thing makes me laugh. It’s so thick, it’s like a piece of white bread that you’ve tried to cut using a blunt kitchen knife!

Other things that you may regonise are: Slap bracelets, Clickets and Bow Biters (whoever remembers these is old like me (insert smily face here), marbles, Trolls, Smurfs, My Little Pony, Micro mini cars, Bart Simpson badges, Promotional Ghost Busters pin, Handheld computer games, the graphics on this look like something my granny would of designed with her eyes closed. My He-Man, my We Want More Vol. 12 CASSETTE in it original box, which includes 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor and Club Factory. My Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle wallet which no doubt housed my BOB-T card.
