Shane and I went to Pretoria yesterday for a bit of a drive and an antique hunt. We went to a few cool little shops, but I took lots of photos of one of my favourite stores, Bellbottoms. This place has some very beautiful bits and pieces, some are for sale and some are not. A lot is, which is cool. They have such an amazing collection of things, from ornaments to furniture, to pinball machines, to products, to records, to clothes, to photos, to signage, to advertising, to tins and the list goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.
I spent over an hour looking into every nook and cranny. I think if I had to own a shop like this I wouldn’t let anything go, I would be a perfect candidate for Hoarders on DSTV. Yikes.
I bought a few things, which I will post about just now. I’m actually surprised I didn’t come home with more, I think Shane is over the moon that I didn’t.
Here is their address: Pierneef St, Pretoria, Villieria

wow! It looks like the Brands & Packaging Museum in London.. so many cool old things. I love that Royal Wedding Poster!
Yay!
I have always wanted to visit that store since one of my friends bought a rad vintage snakeskin handbag there! Where is it situated?
oh man, that shop is KILLER! i want to dig through all that stuff!!! can’t wait to see what you got!
Looks like the coolest shop ever. How did I live in Pretoria for 8 years and never find it?! I’m going hunting for the shop next time I’m in PTA.
I love that place! There are a bunch of really nice antique shops in that area, now I’m cursing myself for not being there at the right time so I could ambush you with my sycophancy. Such a great shop though, even if walking up the stairs is always a bit of a gamble;)
Drove past it on Monday and thought it’s been a while since I popped in. It’s really a fabulous little place.
really nice, do they have a contact number?
One of my favourite shops… you can even rent out some of the items for props…
