Today we went to the national museum of art. It was full of beautiful paintings and sculptures that dated all the way back to the 1300’s. The crazy thing is my little brain found it very difficult to grasp the fact that I was looking at artwork that has survived hundreds and hundreds of years. but at least I was a little better than these 2 who where literally rolling on the ground wrestling one another. It was quite a site. They were not even for one second taken by any of the paintings, funny but sad too.
what i took out of my visit to the museum was 1. the women back in those days looked a lot like chelsea clinton mixed with a few mac donalds burgers 2. Back then there was so much effort put into a painting. The rock below was also on display and it was the only piece that reminded me of something someone famous would make today.
