Yesterday I short shot a insert with the Expresso Show on SABC 3. I went antique hunting with one of their presenters Mpho for a dinner party that I’m throwing in a little while. Now I’m no Charlize on camera, but I tired my best and I had a lot of fun doing it. I still think I’m probably going to cringe when I watch it, it always happens when I hear my voice on video, I sound like a 2 cents moron (whatever that is).
Anyway yesterday was super fun and I took Stubs along and we had a bit of a shop and a couple of pannekoek, which is never ever a bad thing. Ever. I didn’t buy a whole bunch, she had more luck than I did this time around, but I bought home a few pieces that I really like, which I will show you in the next post. For now here are some photos of the antique fair and some of the cool stuff I saw and was controlled enough not to buy.
If anyone is interested in antique fairs, this one happens every second Sunday of the month at Uncle Tim’s Cabin in Benoni. Yay.
These 2 ladies were my favourite, they had hair that matched their outfits, only in Benoni and maybe Cresta shopping centre.
