So this is Suzette van der Merwe, who clearly has what it takes to be the OK-Bazaar’s Margate Surf Queen. Wow that bikini makes me feel weird in the face and not in a good way. This is an actual photo of her block mounted (obviously), my friend Dave found it in a secondhand store somewhere in Johannesburg. Man if only she knew that she now hangs in my office and inspires me everyday to strive for world peace.
ps: she later went on to become Miss South Africa in 1990. She’s my hero.
