I went to Jo’s house a few weeks ago and got to see her very awesome air plant collection. I’ve been wanting to get some for some time now and when I saw how sweet they looked dangling from their pots and after Jo explained how little attention they needed, I was sold. I went down to the nursery and got myself some pieces to try out.
So here is the cool thing about air plants, they don’t need any sort of dirty dirt, they need no special plant food, no sweet talking and no special conditions, you pop them into your hanging pot, you spritz them every now and then and Bob’s your green thumbed uncle you have plants.
I deiced to hang some in our bathroom from these cool hanging pots I bought from @Home, I bought some for the kitchen too, but i’m going to full those with different ones, as soon as I get my hands on some. I’ll let you know which nursery (in Jhb) has the best selection…

Hi Angie,
Airplants actually love a little bit of a bath now and then too.
Bit of a growth-encouraging treat!
I even bath mine in Seagrow once in a while.
Love the little planters too.
