It was my birthday yesterday and on Friday night I had dinner with my amazing and close friends to celebrate it. As I was finishing up opening up all my presents they pulled one final big box out from under the table and presented me with this! Yes my friends, I am now a proud owner of a vintage ice blue Kitchen Aid. I have wanted this magnificent beast of a mixer for a long time and now it’s all mine. I keep wanting to bite into it, it’s the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It’s like a piece of royal bubblegum. I said to Shane that now we definitely have to get our own house and do it up, cause the Kitchen Aid needs a proper setting.
When I took it out it’s box and put it on our kitchen counter, I swear every other appliance in the room peed itself.
*Thank you everyone, I love you all so so much. Expect thank you cake.

oh dear it’s pretty. you’re going to put the non-baking/wannabe-bakers to (even more) shame. *pout*.
Wishing you a very happy birthday for yesterday! What a gift!
