this is one of the pictures that hangs above our couch at home. i bought it from my friend’s awesome shop, Deer Hunter. i hate that i love horses, but i’m too scared to ride them. wish i was brave enough to change that so i could feel as happy as this little girl. she must have scared the living daylights out her mom everytime she pulled a loaf of bread out. anyway i found this message on the net somewhere and i really like what it says, cause it’s so true.
The Voortrekker monument has a horse trail with old horses that are pretty chilled, I havent been, but the missus went on the ride and loved it!!
Lady lady, please don’t be afraid. Horses are so awesome it’s not even a joke. The Voortrekker was amazing! We rode Cape Mountain horses. My friend Mel had never ridden a horse in her whole life and she galloped at full speed and just could not get enough. The thing is to go somewhere that is professional. I found this amazing yard called SA horse trails. The specialize in western riding and I basically guarantee you will stay in your seat because western saddles are designed that way and you ride with a really long stirrup which give you a great centre of gravity. http://www.satrails.co.za
