name2

We have been working all day like crazy kids on our shop, which is officiously opening on Mondaaaaaaay. This Friday we are having a small party for our friends and family. I really hope everything is going to be ready by then, or else all our guests are going to be hammering whilst singing “hi ho, hi ho, it’s off to work I go” while they sip on their americano de latte supreme – is that even a drink? Man, I know nothing about coffees. Haha. Awesome. I really hope I’m going to see all, or most of you there at some point. We can eat cake and talk to each other’s faces, rather than on the computes. now, that would be nice….

*The block photo is a picture of our signage. everyone keeps asking what the name of the shop is, but we’re not telling till it opens. Nope. Any guesses?

I’ve opened 4 shops, I know how much work it is, how many hidden things there are to do – and you’ve done this while having a full-time job – how have you done this, and with such grace? Respec Angie, respec 🙂

And I think its called “Lucky Pony” 🙂

shane and greg took time off to work on the shop full time and thank goodness they did. wow you are right there is so much to do. it’s crazy, but awesome at the same time.
i’ve taken a few days off cause there is still quite a bit to do face-shop wise. but it’s almost there. can’t wait xxxx

I think I spot a t, an h and an i? When I visit friends and family in July I will force them (if I have to) to take me to your shop! From going through your blog and seeing the things you like I am sure your shop will be a success and one of those treasured, one of a kind places! I wish you all of the best with the opening!! =)

I think it’s the coffee shop formerly known as Ye Olde Coffee Shoppe.
That would be amazing. Maybe too long. But amazing and long: like the time that’s going to be spent in that place stuffing my face with cake, what?
    Ok names – angiegregshane? catchy.

.. the day before my shop opened, a pipe in the roof burst and flooded the whole place. now that sucked!! so whatever is going wrong or taking long, just remember that little story.. it had a good ending, all our friends came to the opening and we sold stuff and we’ve nearly been open for one year!!!!.. good luck you 3 and see you on friday night!

@kez, oh yes, we had floods and raining in kalk bay the day after i opened and the roof leaked and ruined my paint job, but here i am over a year later too!!! it was a true ‘roof wetting’ now that i think of it! Break a leg Angie, all your fans are rooting for you xx
