19 July 2012 – Birthday times.

 Today is my birthday. I love birthdays, I really really do. It’s one day where you get to feel special in your own little way whether people know it’s your birthday or not. And it’s the only time that it’s acceptable to eat your own birthday cake with your own face, with absolutly no hands and NO one is allowed to say a thing. Which is how I decided to roll on my second birthday, I love the kid next to me, he’s like “what cha doin?”

This year I was thrown a surprise party by Shane and my friends, they literally scared the bejeezers out of me. I was so surprised it took me like 10 minutes to register what was happening. Ha! It was so nice to see everyone and I got so spoilt! Wow. Thank you friends xxx

I will show you all my gifts tomorrow, but for now I have to show you what my beautiful husband made me. He downloaded ALL my Instagrams, I have been taking photos for just over a year now and he laid them all out and then had them printed and book bound. He separated all the pictures into categories – friends, him and I, cats that I wish were mine, the 2 shops, food, shoes, outdoors, awesome things I’ve seen, places I’ve been. This book is AMAZING. I have paged through it like 80 times and everytime it makes me smile the whole way through. It’s such an awesome way to take a look back at your life and to keep all those cool memories safe and in one place. We’re going to have one made up every year, so this is volume one.

You can’t see it in the pictures I’ve taken, but it’s a pretty thick book, it’s made up of 60 glorious pages, below are just a few of them.
