Last night Nicki, Natasha and I had our very first ever bloggers get together at Wolves and it was a huge success. All in all 50 people, including us arrived and it was so much fun to meet some of the faces that you read about everyday, in person.
We gave away all the prizes we had up for grabs, there were a lot of happy bloggers and some who I’m sure were contemplating jumping the winners in the parking lot. I had my eye on the girls who won the Kodak cameras, they were lucky I had to help Shane close up otherwise – them + me + the dark + the parking lot = me walking away with 2 cameras. Yes.
One of the main reasons we had this little shindig was to get a bunch of us bloggers who didn’t know about each other, to know about each other, make sense? Sure it does. So below is the list of everyone who came, with their url’s – f you’re up to making new blog friends (which is always fun), click and enjoy. I didn’t get to speak to all these bloggers, but I met a fair amount and they were very cool and very sweet and I hope we all get to hook up again soon. I reckon next time, the main prize should be a trip to Mauritius yes! Ha!
I would like to say thanks to Nicki and Natasha for all their hard work and idea and thanks to all the awesome bloggers that came out and made the night so cool. And thanks to Canderel, Living & Loving, Pringles, Kodak, Hand hair salon, Laborie wines (they make this wine liquor, which is amazing. Hello liquor wine, you’re my new favourite thing), The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosebank, Wolves, ghd and Snack Factory. The only way it could have been better is if we had an enormous chocolate fountain, which could only be moved by the strength of 12 men….aaaaaa next time.
