Vintage buttons

This past weekend Jo and I went button hunting and boy did we come with the mother load of vintage buttons! We had so many vintage buttons to choose from that I thought Jo was go into cardiac arrest.

How we got to come into contact with said button stash: One of our regulars at Wolves came in the other day and told Jo about a factory store in town called Hammond. She knew how much Jo loved buttons and said that she had to go to this place. All I’m saying is that I have never seen Jo so excited and confused at the same time, I had to literally stop her from physically diving into the boxes. She was like a great white shark in a blow-up pool full of small fat children eating viennas. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing and neither could I. There were boxes and boxes and boxes of beautiful vintage buttons, glass vintage buttons, plastic vintage buttons, awesome vintage buttons. We were there for about 3 hours and we just kept finding stuff and we didn’t even make it through ALL the boxes. We came out of there dirty, but flipping happy and completely over the moon about our finds. So look our for new Hello Fox vintage button designs.

*The lady below works there. She was so sweet, look at the Ghana flag in her hair. Man I cried like a baby after and during that game. Sad. Sad. Sad.
