Valentino Couture Spring 2013

These are the dresses Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli designed for the Valentino Couture Spring 2013 collection. I saw them floating around the net this morning and couldn’t help but blog about them. They are so beautiful and so rich looking that they make my eyes hurt. I love every single one, they’re so well constructed and considered, they make me think of Italy in 1950. Not that I was alive then or know exactly what it was like in Italy in 1950, but these dresses give me that feeling.

If I were super rich and a few inches taller than I am right now, I would have tall these lovelies hanging up in my castle to wear on every and any occasion.

You can few the whole collection here.

  1. OMG am drooling…if only us mere mortals had occasion (and available finances!) to wear dresses like that…absolutely beautiful, every single one is so feminine

  2. Valentino is my favourite couture designer…so feminine!
