Wowzers how absolutely amazing and beautiful are these pieces from the Valentino Spring 2015 Ready-to-Wear collection? It makes me sad that I don’t think I will ever own something as special as one of these dresses. Sigh and damn them all to hell.
I keep seeing glimpses of Valentino’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection on Pinterest and so went in search for the whole lot and wow I wasn’t disappointed, it’s full of the most luxurious looking outfits crafted to perfection from motifs, to structured silhouettes, to just plain beautiful gowns. There are 78 looks altogether and I went through them all to try pick my favourites, which was damn hard because there were so many good ones it started hurting my eyes. Take a look at some of my favourites below and if you’re keen to see them all, which I have no doubt you will be, click here.
These are the dresses Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli designed for the Valentino Couture Spring 2013 collection. I saw them floating around the net this morning and couldn’t help but blog about them. They are so beautiful and so rich looking that they make my eyes hurt. I love every single one, they’re so well constructed and considered, they make me think of Italy in 1950. Not that I was alive then or know exactly what it was like in Italy in 1950, but these dresses give me that feeling.
If I were super rich and a few inches taller than I am right now, I would have tall these lovelies hanging up in my castle to wear on every and any occasion.
