I came across one piece of Vale Jewelry’s collection on Pinterest last night and decided that it was too awesome not to go looking for it’s friends and I’m so happy that I did. This label makes such pretty and delicate things that look nothing short of beautiful layered or stacked together. The two ladies behind Vale Jewelry are twin sisters Avi and Eva and I think they are super smart, because there is no way in hell that you would be happy with just one piece of their shiny magic.
Back in the day my gran, the lovely lady above, was and still is now a beautiful woman, who always takes so much pride in her appearance. When I was younger I always remember her being so well put together, her hair was always made up and she always had the prettiest jewellery on.
Ok so I got super spoilt by the team over at Dear Rae. WOW. I received a beautifully packaged ring yesterday with loads of photos of their new Let’s Go Tropsi Collection, which is really pretty and delicate and made up of glints of gold, native shapes and lavish colours that come through in the use of precious stones. I’m a huge fan of Dear Rae’s creations, in fact every time I wear any Dear Rae piece that I own, someone asks me where it comes from. I find everything that they make so simple and unfussy, but really eye catching and beautiful at the same time and I’m super happy with my awesome ‘delicious monster’ ring that they sent me, which I definitely think needs some friends, because they look so good stacked.
My friend Kristin is opening up her very own Black Betty jewellery store in the Bryanston Shopping Centre, Cnr William Nicol/ Ballyclaire Drive. Her stuff is so so pretty and delicate and pretty and I just want everything. I’m not sure it’s a good thing that she now has a shop I can visit anytime. I have blogged about her stuff before, just click here to have a bit of a online drool.
This simple, but oh so beautiful jewellery is made by sisters Noriko and Akiko Sugawara under their label n+a new york. They’re so delicate but imperfect at the same time, I really like them.
How pretty is the diamond cluster ring below? I found it on Free People, then I went looking for more and more I found. But let me warn you now, 80% of them are quite pricey, some are a few hundred and some a few thousand. Man I need to get myself some fat pockets.
