Some puffy sleeves and tan sandals09. December 2013
The other day Grazia magazine visited me at my house. They came to take pictures of what I would wear to a Christmas party that I would host. Now, those of you that know me well, know that I’m not a very dressy-up kind of person. I don’t wear heels and I like to feel comfortable and myself at all times and so I opted for a long black skirt, my new top from Country Road, which I love because the shoulders are puffy and I flipping love puffy shoulders (don’t ask me why). I also decided to wear 3 of my favourite local designers, Jane Sews shoes, a bracelet from Skermunkil and a necklace from Dear Rae.
So I thought I would show you guys the insert (thanks Grazia) and show you my nice new top and some nice new sandals I picked up at Mr Price, incase you were looking for puffy sleeves and some new sandals xx
I also found another nice pair of sandals at Mr Price this weekend.
Mr Price Summer 2014 – fun times.02. December 2013
Here are a few pics I snapped of some Mr Price’s looks for 2014. They’re so care-free and fun and I love how they’ve played with material and volume and they haven’t taken themselves too seriously. Love all the lengths too, can’t wait to see them in-store.
They haven’t forgotten you boys either, there are some cool prints coming out and I’m quite jealous that they’ve made matching top and pants suits for you, too awesome.
Newbies – blues and blacks09. September 2013
2 days ago I went past Mr. P and found these sweet little guys. They’re my new blues and I think they’re just too nice. Now I just wish Pixie Market (see below post) was an actual shop that only sold clothes to me.
I also found this cool faux leather bag at Woolies, which I really like. It’s nice and big inside, which is always a bonus especially when you have things like cameras and bingo pens to carry around with you (I love bingo, I play it sometimes in Boksburg with my friends, I carry my bingo pens around with me all the time, in case I need them hee). Anyway Woolies has quite a nice selection of handbags at the moment, if any of you are on the look out for new arm candy. Happy shopping… x
Summer on my feet26. July 2013
So I’m sure you’re all going to agree with me when I say that this Winter has been super mild. I remember us last year running around in ‘snow’ like wildlings in the streets of Joburg, but this year I think I have hauled my coat out like a handful of times. Anyway the point of this post is to show you the pretty new sandals I bought from Mr P last weekend. They’re summer in leather and they are so cute. I couldn’t resist buying 2 pairs, one blue and one dusty pink and today I thought would be a good time to showcase them because it’s such a beautiful day out.
I like these Mr Price, you did good.
Pearls and pumps16. April 2013
Whilst Jo and I were in the area we decided to go play a spot of bingo, we won diddly squat, which sucked but we did win when we went into East Rand Mall for a quick spot of shopping. I found this amazing gold and pearl necklace from a small accessories shop opposite Mr Price (I can’t remember the name of it). It’s like a fancy bib that Beyonce would make Ivy Blue wear. I like it.
Now East Rand mall is weird, BUT the Mr Price there is really cool, it has loads of stock and it’s huge. I bought these nice leather flats and because I was so amped on the tan ones I bought a black pair too, they are really comfortable and soft and some of the niest pumps I’ve seen in a while.
New things09. April 2013
Bought a couple of new things and I thought I would share them with you in case you felt like buying yourself a couple of new things.
Found this nice thin floral jacket at Mr P a week ago. The material is really nice and light so you can wear it with a t-shirt and not feel too bundled up.
I also bought this 4-tone necklace from Mr P. I like it, I feel like a debt collector when I wear it. All i’m missing is a baseball bat and some back-up that actually know how to fight slash wield a baseball bat.
And the last thing I spent some cash monies on was this sweet little headband from The Space, which was only R59. Steal.
