On Friday a parcel arrived for me from the lovely ladies at Zana. If you haven’t heard of this company yet, then you’re just about to get super excited because they make the prettiest, raddest, awesomest things and they are all handmade, designed and created by this local Capetonian team. I absolutely love their stuff because it makes me so super happy. I bought one of their YAY banners for Nina James’ room and now I have a bunch of new things to swoon over.
Hey guys, happy Monday! Just wanted to apologise for being a bit scare around here, I have had a few things going on and because of it my blog has suffered a bit, but I’m going to try my hardest to get back on track and start blogging every day again. Eventually, I’m sure I’ll get back into a routine. So again, I’m sorry for the lack of posts, but I’m going to try change that sooooon.
So it is nearly Christmas time, it’s nearly time for all of us (hopefully most of us) to go on holiday and forget about all work related responsibilities and just eat as much food as humanly possible. Well, this is at least what I plan on doing in the the next couple of weeks, for a couple of weeks.
But before I stock up on elasticated waist pants for the holidays, I thought I would host one final bonanza of a giveaway on my blog just to say thanks to all the awesome support that you have shown this Lucky Pony over the years AND to showcase some of my most favourite favourite LOCAL designers, whose stuff I think is beyond awesome and would all be very welcome in my present stash.

As promised here is part 2 of my ideas for Christmas gifts. Part 1 was full of things that come from places all around the world, this one is made up of only products that are locally made and designed by South Africans. There are some super cool people out there making some super cool stuff and all I have to say to them is – YOU GUYS RULE.
I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas time. Time for holidays, lazy days, books, travelling, family, food, food, food and pressssents.
So in preparation for it I thought I would give you guys some ideas for gifts. I’ve complied 2 posts, this one which has all things that are nice from far away lands and then another one full of all local and wonderful things that you can fill some Christmas wrapping paper with.
And don’t worry not everything is for the ladies, I have included some stuff for the boys too. All links are below the pictures. Merry shopping guys xxx

When I took my family’s old passports to be framed I also took these drawings that I did of my parents when I was young. These were Christmas presents that I gave them one year – a one of kind, signed original by A.Batis. Hahaha it has all the important bits, the Merry Xmas, the part about loving them, the eyes that look like bicycle spokes, because i’m such a sucker for detail and then obviously my signature, because no great piece of art is complete without one. Obviously.
