We are now back in South Africa, our trip overseas was a bit of a chilly one, but very very cool. Because I’m married to an internet scouring genius and an all round nice guy, we got to see a bunch of cool things when we were in Paris and Berlin. The next couple of posts are going to be about some places I think you should definitely visit if you are in either of these 2 cities. And if you are anything like me, then you’ll appreciate places that are worth pulling your camera out over and these spots definitely fall into that category.

Levis and Me: Angie Batis Durrant Berlin

Seeing as i’m in Berlin and and I bought myself a super cool vintage Levi’s recycled jacket from Urban outfitters the other day, I thought I would hijack this week’s Levi’s and Me and show it to you. I found this stone washed gem in and amongst a sea of blue ones and I snapped it up in a second. So how it works is they find cool vintage pieces and rework them by either renewing or reconstructing the designs using new pieces of fabric or pieces from end of roll fabrics – I like this idea.

Potipoti Spring/Summer 2014 collection

I spotted Potipoti Spring/Summer 2014 collection on Pinterest the other day and then again on Cath’s blog and I couldn’t help but reblog about it here because this collection is so bright and fun and right up Summer’s alley. The patterns and colours make me want to smash a watermelon in my face while I jump off a diving board into a blue blue pool. And seeing as their store in located in good old Berlin, I’m thinking I have to pay them a little visit, maybe get me a matching sweater-backpack combo, I like that style a lot! Yes.
