Today is our Christmas party and work is taking us all to the Vaal to sail and drink in the sunny sun. So this morning Jo and I made sure we dressed for the occasion. Stripy t-shirts – check. Pleated pants for easy casual dance moves on deck – check. Sailor themed accessories – check. Change of clothes in case we fall into the Vaal- check check.
My friend Gina King is has made me remember the nice pants we all bought in Sweden. She has the got the casual pant look down and I must say i’m rather getting into it myself. Thanks Gina King. How rad is Jo’s yellow necklace? Her sister bought it for her from Canada.
Jo and I have kind of made it our thing to dress up the same for work parties. If you look below you will see us dressed up as pregnant smoking school girls for a party we had at The Flamingo bar in Troyville – wow that night was awesome. And then we sprouted some moustaches and went as high-rollers to the last casino themed part we had. Dressing up is too much fun. Why can’t everyday be dress-up day. Just warning you guys, If I ever had to become king-queen of the world, everyday would be dress-up day. Hells yes.
Man, Jo is leaving Network at the end of the month, which sucks, like when someone eats your crispiest piece of bacon that you have been saving on your plate for last. I hate that and I hate that my friend is leaving. No more dress-ups. No more friend tea. No more Jo. Sad sad sad.
Ah that sucks… I’ve never had a friendy at work, so I don’t exactly know how you are feeling. It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, while working together. Ahhh Sorry hope you feel better soon.
