Look at my little Wade squirrel that I bought online the other day. He’s in his original box and everything, the only other Wade animals I have are wolves and a bambi, these are quite common in antique stores and I have only just recently discovered that there are a lot of different ones out there. I sense a new obsession forming. Oh crap, my poor display cabinet.
Great blog… very inspirational… hope I win the yellow retro table from vamp!!!
CUTE!!! When i was little we used to have a beatrix potter game, and all the pieces were li’l ‘porcelain” figures of jemima puddleduck, squirrel nutkin etc…this totally reminds me of that…what are you gonna do with all these when you have kids?!
angie, get yourself a copy of the millers antique guide. it comes out every year…available at exclusive books! filled with all the different types ceramic forest creatures, value etc. and other stuff too. i buy it every so often, and take it with me when i go a antique hunting! the wade animals are great, bought my friend puss in boots a while ago. very handsome in his brown boots n all. nice weekend to you..!

the best display cabinets are always made of steel and glass structure or composite fibers~*;
