Dark interiors

I appreciate both light and dark interiors and this morning this beautiful home caught my eye and had me swooning. This is the space of Alketas Pazis who is a true collector of all things design, ranging from the styles of the 1900‘s – 1950’s. I spotted this space on this blog this morning and new I had to share it with you guys. It’s just up my alley, it has enough interesting pieces to make it look full, but not cluttered and I love all the dark walls.

I think I could look at interiors blogs all day, everyday. There are just some people out there that have the best eyes for detail and space. It’s so inspiring.

I would live in Copenhagen

I came across this beautiful 90 odd square metre apartment located in the East of Copenhagen and I instantly fell in love with it. There is just the right amount of colour and charm in each room and it looks like such a loved home.

I really like it when people take small spaces and make them into little masterpieces.

Beautiful Park Slope home

I’m so excited that I finally get to see inside this absolutely beautiful Park Slope home that is a 4000 square foot, four story, seven bedroomed paradise. I once upon a time stumbled across the photo above of probably one of the most amazing bathrooms I have ever seen (on screen) and so went in search of the rest of house, but came up with only 3 or 4 more photos. I was so sad because I was so desperate to see what the rest of this house looked like and today I got to peak inside it, finally!

Beautiful Swedish home

I’m forever posting about beautiful Swedish homes on my blog, I think that one day I may have to pack my bags, move there and into one of them. One day when I’m super rich (because they are always so expensive to buy), tall, blonde and can speak fluent Swedish.

How absolutely amazing is this turn of the century apartment that is located in a 1920’s building in Sweden. I love everything about it, the pops of colour, the vintage door frames, the furniture, the art choices, the green bath. Whoever owns it has some damn fine taste.

The Loft

How cool is this idea – This company called The Loft sources amazing furniture, homeware and lighting and then decorates awesome spaces with all their stuff so that when you go shopping in their ‘store’ you get to experience what it would feel like to have your entire apartment decked out in their goods/vision. So everything inside their meticulously pieced together showrooms is for sale.

If I had to stumble across this loft I’d want to move in immediately. This space is so great! I’d have to be quite sneaky about it though, because it would be pretty awkward when customers walked in and I was there hanging out in my pj’s eating marmite and toast.

Cool Spaces: Eclectic Melbourne home

This is the eclectic Melbourne home of Martin and Louise McIntosh, founders and owners of Outré Gallery. I spotted it on Design Files this morning and I fell in love with it. It’s so full of wonderful treasures, I guess it helps if you own a gallery and have a good eye for things.
